About Me Work CV
I am a Mexican painter based in Los Angeles, creating work that lives at the intersection of memory, emotion, and material. My paintings are intimate reflections — quiet narratives built through layers of color, gesture, and texture. Each piece begins as a feeling, an experience, a moment, or a fragment of memory, and slowly evolves into something tangible and vulnerable.
I am drawn to the act of painting as a way of documenting what can’t always be put into words. My process is intuitive and emotional, often led by instinct rather than strict structure. Through this, I explore themes of personal history, identity, and living in our time.
My studio is a space of excavation and becoming — where the past and present meet on canvas, and where I search for beauty in the in-between.
